Job Description: 

  • Plan, organize and direct all the activities of the cost accounting function
  • Manage day to day operations of the existing cost accounting function from management of current rates to monthly close and analysis
  • Support the Project Cost Team in the development of a standard costing system
  • Manage the transition from the existing cost environment to a new standard cost system
  • Development and maintenance of standard costs
  • Perform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost to operate statement along with supporting analysis
  • Develop metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers
  • Define policies and procedures for all cost accounting activities
  • Monthly variance analysis between actual and standared cost
  • Develop yearly group budget
  • Preparing the quarter forecast for the group
  • Monthly MIS for the group 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with an excellent academic record
  • Cerrtified CMA Or MBA is an advantage
  • ERP System experience (SAP,ORACLE) is Amust  
  • 15+ years progressive experience in accounting management, preferably as a cost accountant in a real estate developer  
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven experience in driving process improvement
  • Demonstrated leadership and history of driving change and making a difference
  • Ability to lead, motivate and support accounting team
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with non-accounting professionals
